How to unstart a task
Canceling a started task releases it back to the household — no penalties.
If you started a task by mistake (or can’t finish it), you can cancel it to release it back to the household.
- In the Focus tab, cancel it from the active task
- Anywhere a task row shows as started, tap the × on the right of the row
Canceling clears your start without completing the task. Its rhythm is unaffected — it simply goes back to being available.
Tip
Canceling a started task is common. This system is meant to be forgiving.
